Best Local SEO Software For Agencies | Compared

Fifteen local SEO platforms compared on the three things that actually decide an agency’s margin: whether white label reporting is included or gated, what extra team members cost, and how hard the contract is to leave. Every price is from the vendor’s own page unless the row says otherwise.

Pricing checked August 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the row says so and any figure quoted is reported by third parties rather than stated by the vendor. No ratings or review counts appear on this page.

Disclosure

StoreLocatorSoftware is our own product, and it is first on this list. You should read everything below with that in mind. What we have done instead of hiding it is name the competitor that wins wherever one does, and publish the pricing and terms for all fifteen so you can check the claim yourself.

How we judged them

Agencies do not buy local SEO software the way a single business does. Rank tracking, reviews and posts are on every list here, so they decide very little. What separates these tools is commercial: whether the deliverable can carry your brand without an upgrade, whether growing the team costs money, and what happens when a client leaves and you want to stop paying.

The picks, and who each one is really for

1

StoreLocatorSoftware

This is us

Best for. Best when white label and seats are both included

Every tool is on the one plan, so nothing an agency needs sits behind an upgrade. White label reporting is included rather than an add on, and team members cost nothing, which is where per seat pricing quietly eats a retainer.

Pricing. One location is $16 a month. Two to seven is a flat $37, however many you add inside that range, so a five client book is $37 rather than five times anything. From eight it is $5.33 each.

Worth knowing
  • The trial is three days, short next to the fourteen day no card trials at Localo, Synup and GMBapi. We are also newer than BrightLocal and Whitespark, so there is less independent history to read on us.
2

BrightLocal

Best for. Best for agencies that need reviews and citations under one roof

The longest track record in the category and genuinely good audit and citation work. Client portals are part of the product rather than an afterthought, which matters when clients want their own login.

Pricing. Track $39, Manage $49 and Grow $59 per location per month, with a fourteen day trial that needs no card. Annual billing saves 25 percent.

Worth knowing
  • Read the tier line carefully. Listings sync starts at Manage and review management only arrives on Grow, so the plan most agencies actually need is the $59 one, not the $39 headline.
3

Local Dominator

Best for. Best cheap white label for a small agency book

White label reporting and API access from the $97 Pro plan, covering twenty profiles and ten seats. AI visibility tracking across several assistants is included on every paid tier, which is unusual at this price.

Pricing. Lite $39, Advance $59, Pro $97, Powerhouse $197 and Enterprise $399 a month, with a seven day trial and no card.

Worth knowing
  • It is credit metered. Lite includes 5,000 credits a month and scans consume them by grid size and frequency, so the plan price is a floor. Citations are a further $35 a month.
4

Local Viking

Best for. Best bulk posting for a modest client list

Grid scanning with history and a timelapse replay, plus bulk posting with spintax so the same post is not published word for word across every listing. White label and an embeddable grid widget start at Pro.

Pricing. Single $39, Starter $59, Pro $99, Agency $149 and Enterprise $200 a month, priced by listing count.

Worth knowing
  • No trial is advertised, so evaluating it costs a month. Scanning is capped by keyword and grid credits, and there is no citation building at all.
5

Semrush Local

Best for. Best if your team already lives inside Semrush

Local can be bought on its own without the core platform, which most people assume is not possible. The map rank tracker is straightforward to operate and citation distribution reaches more than seventy directories.

Pricing. Local Base $30 and Local Pro $60 per location per month. Seven day trial, and it does want a card.

Worth knowing
  • Two agency costs are easy to miss. White label reporting is a $20 a month extra, and additional users are $20 each. Listings and review tools are Pro only, so $60 is the real entry price.
6

Synup

Best for. Best when you need listings reach and no feature gating

Publishing to more than 100 directories, including map and in car navigation systems most tools never touch. Every feature is on every plan, so the tier changes capacity rather than what you can reach.

Pricing. Solo $49 for one location, Premium $299 up to ten, Pro $499 up to twenty five, Scale $899 up to fifty. Fourteen day trial, no card, no sales call.

Worth knowing
  • Band pricing overshoots hard at the edges. A second location moves you from $49 to $299, and an eleventh from $299 to $499. White labeling needs Premium at $299 or above.
7

Localo

Best for. Best for a small book of high value clients

The clearest interface here for someone who does not do this daily, with an adjustable geo grid and a weekly prioritized task list. White label client reports are included.

Pricing. Single Business $49 a month, or $39 billed annually, for one profile. Pro is $169 monthly or $149 annually and connects up to sixty profiles. Fourteen day trial, no card.

Worth knowing
  • There is nothing between those two plans. A three client agency pays full Pro pricing, and Pro caps optimization seats at thirty against sixty connected profiles.
8

GMBapi

Best for. Best per location price at large scale

Cheap in a way nothing else here matches once you are past a couple of hundred profiles, and unlimited users are included, so the bill tracks locations rather than headcount.

Pricing. $16 per location at one location, falling through six bands to $4.50 each at 201 and above. Fourteen day trial with no card.

Worth knowing
  • The vendor FAQ allows cancellation only after your third month with a month of notice, so budget four months. White label sits on the quoted custom tier, not the published plans.
9

Local Falcon

Best for. Best if a geo grid is the entire job

Does one thing better than almost anything else here. If your deliverable is a heat map and nothing more, this is a defensible choice and we would not pretend otherwise.

Pricing. Credit packages from roughly $25 to $200 a month, so the bill moves with how much you scan.

Worth knowing
  • It manages no profiles, no reviews and no listings, so it supplements a platform rather than replacing one. Agencies usually end up paying for both.
10

Whitespark

Best for. Best for citation work specifically

The reference many agencies still reach for on citations, sold as individual products rather than one platform, month to month.

Pricing. The local rank tracker is from $25 a month covering unlimited domains and locations, which is genuinely good value. Reputation is a separate product from $79.

Worth knowing
  • Assembling the whole job means several subscriptions and several logins, and the managed service at $497 a month is a different kind of purchase entirely.

Five questions worth asking before you commit

  1. Is white label included, or a tier?

This is the question that changes the bill most. It is included on our plan and on Localo. It starts at $97 on Local Dominator, $99 on Local Viking, $299 on Synup and $399 on SearchAtlas, and it is a $20 monthly extra on Semrush Local. On GMBapi it is only on the quoted custom tier.

  2. What do extra team members cost?

Per seat pricing is how a cheap tool becomes an expensive one. Ours and GMBapi include unlimited users. Semrush Local charges $20 per extra user. SearchAtlas gives one seat on Starter and three on Growth. Localo counts optimization seats separately from connected profiles, and the smaller number binds.

  3. How hard is it to leave?

Agencies lose clients, and the software should not outlast them. Yext bills annually on a twelve to twenty four month minimum. Birdeye auto renews for a full term unless you give ninety days written notice, which is in its own terms. GMBapi will not let you cancel until after month three.

  4. Does the price move with usage?

A plan price is not a monthly cost when scanning burns credits. Local Falcon, Local Dominator and Local Viking all meter something, and Semrush meters map tracking. That is not a fault, but forecast it before you quote a client a retainer.

  5. What is the price at double your client count?

Per location pricing compounds and band pricing jumps. Work out the figure at twice your current book before you commit, because that is the number you will actually be paying by the time the contract feels settled.

Local SEO software for agencies, answered

What is the best local SEO software for agencies?

It depends which part of the job you are buying. If you want white label reporting and unlimited seats included rather than gated, that is what our plan is built around. If you need heavy review management and citation building with a long track record, BrightLocal is the stronger pick. If a geo grid is your entire deliverable, Local Falcon does that one job better than either of us.

Is there free local SEO software for agencies?

Not really, at agency scale. Google Business Profile Manager is free and fine for a single location. Semrush has a free Map Rank Tracker tier limited to one campaign and a five by five grid, and Local Dominator has a free trial mode with demo scans. Beyond that, anything that manages client work is paid.

How much should an agency expect to pay?

The published range on this page runs from $16 a month to $999. For a small agency running five to twenty client locations, most of the credible options land between $37 and $200 a month once white label is included. The figure that surprises people is not the headline, it is the tier the white label sits on.

Which tools include white label reporting without an upgrade?

Ours and Localo include it. Local Dominator and Local Viking include it from their $97 and $99 plans. Synup requires Premium at $299, SearchAtlas requires Pro at $399, and Semrush Local sells it as a $20 monthly add on. Several others do not publish whether it is available at all.

Can I manage multiple clients in separate workspaces?

Yes on ours, and on most of the platform tools here. What differs is whether team access is scoped per client and whether seats are charged for. Scoped client access with unlimited seats is the combination that matters for an agency, and it is less common than the marketing suggests.

Why does this list include your own product?

Because leaving it out would be its own kind of dishonesty, and because we think it genuinely wins on the white label and seats question. We have said so at the top rather than burying it, and where a competitor is the better answer we have named them.

Every tool on one plan, white label included.

One location is $16 a month, two to seven is a flat $37, and from eight it is $5.33 each. Unlimited team members, and a three day free trial with no card.
